Workshop Description
The Olympic lifts can be invaluable when it comes to increasing athletic performance. With a high technical nature, Olympic lifts may be difficult for athletes to do correctly. This workshop will break down the Clean, Snatch and Jerk so that they can be taught through progressions.
Workshop Learning Objectives
Upon conclusion of this program, participants should be able to:
- Understand the value of the Olympic Lifts in Sports Performance
- Understand and be able to teach the progressions of the Hang Clean
- Understand and be able to teach the progressions of the Hang Snatch
- Understand and be able to teach the progressions of the Push and Split Jerk
Intended Audience
This workshop is for strength and conditioning coaches, sports performance coaches, personal trainers and any other fitness professionals that work with athlete or clients who have Olympic lifting as part of their training program.
